Daniel Goodman

Artist Daniel Goodman and I got together at his home off of Forest Hill Ave. recently. Daniel paints fluid compositions using a high key color pallet on both traditional canvases and larger scale murals. We discussed the the juxtaposing of his seemingly free flowing style with very specific and intentional lines and shape placement. We also talked about the Richmond art community, creating miniatures for stop motion animation, drawing inspiration from his artist father, and his time living in New York City where he interned at The Colbert Report among other ventures.

You can find out more about Daniel and his work via his website here, and on Instagram here.
