41 days, 50 less pounds, and eight hospital rooms later, my son's journey home is almost over. One last big '"thank you" from our family for all the support and positive energy sent his way.

Some good news for a change. Henry's taken a turn for the better. Had his breathing tube removed a few days ago and is supporting his respiratory drive well on his own. He's also been moved from constant dialysis to just needing it intermittently. A

Thanks to all who have purchased fundraiser prints and books. The prints will be avaliable for roughly a week longer, and then I will close them out and begin shipping. Books only will begin shipping tomorrow. The support of our friends and community

Good morning. Wanted to thank everyone for the continued support and positivity as Henry recovers. A week ago we were struggling with the possibility that our oldest son might not survive this fight, now we're planning his recovery effort.

The response from family, friends, and the arts community to Henry's sudden critical illness has been overwhelming. We are eternally greatful. Jenny and I are humbled to be part of communites of people with such an aptitude for empathy and caring.

Friends, this is my oldest son Henry. He is currently critically ill and on life support at the UVA Medical Center's pediatric intensive care unit. Henry is being treated for Toxic Shock Syndrome, a systemic septic infection of the body.
