Belle Isle On The James

Belle On The James is a photography project documenting Belle Isle, a small piece of land located between the James River and the Belle Isle dry rocks in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. The collection features images of the Belle Isle landscape over the course of a year, highlighting its natural geography and its interaction with the man made relics of the 19th century that dot its terrain.
