Mickael Broth / The Night Owl
I had the opportunity to get together with painter, muralist, and sculptor Mickael Broth aka The Night Owl to kick off the first project entry of the year.
Mickael works out of a studio on the Northside of Richmond, VA, but we headed out along the James River on a unseasonably warm day to walk and talk. In addition to art, we discussed family, rock climbing, cave paintings, and Richmond's landscape as one that continues to give (when you keep looking). Broth selectively illustrated as we strolled and bumped into other artists that were looking to take advantage of the weather and bonus rail car conditions.
